Awesome write up OP! Has anyone successfully done this in a 3rd gen, I went to pull the kick panels yesterday and found that my plugs don't look the same as the 2nd gen. - I have a 2017 OR.

New to the forums, just got my first Taco. Did this mod today, great write up! I wired the switch inside the little flip down tray under the switch panel.

There was a thread. I will look for it.

I'm not sure if it is still in testing stages at this point though

Anyone successfully wire an Air on Board switch to do this Abs Off mod? I attempted it today, but with no luck.

Does this work in 2wd as well as 4wd? I would usually want abs off when im in 2wd so i can do doughnuts in the snow.

Hey Guys, just got a 2015 TRDOR (3" lift) and am having serious VSC issues (No issues under 30 MPH, cant take any turn above 30 mph without it engaging ABS, BUT it doesn't beep at me). Looking to do this Mod to make the truck at least drivable, until I can take it to get it aligned and have a dealership reset the Yaw sensor (I've done it 4 different sessions, the last time, I did the reset and re-calibration 5-6 times (using a light switch) in a row to hope at least one would clear and re-cal to no avail). Tried Just pulling the fuses 33 & 36 and lost power brakes. Couldn't locate in my research which I was supposed to pull, so I pulled both.

Longwinded Backstory to ask, does it create any problems since VSC will be freaking out the entire time I'm driving/turning even though it cant engage the ABS?

    Thanks in advance!

    Sucks about the truck bro

I would think this would work.
    Your turning the system off.
Only 1 way to find out I guess

I know, I was bummed at first, but the realized I would have done this Mod anyways. Did it late last night, and it appears to have worked (least around 40 MPH, didn't make it to a highway). Now to decide if I diagnose the VSC and alignment as is, or rip off the Pro-comp lift, and do an entirely separate build. Decisions, decisions...
