Thanks. Yea my buddy runs 700 on his 2nd gen with basically the same setup I want but his truck weighs 350 lbs more than mine at stock weight so 700 should be too much. 650 sounds good thanks.

Has to do with total, sprung weight, and not added weight. 2nd gens weigh more.

So does everyone running ads still love them? Torn between ads and kings. But the price of a full ads kit is hard to beat.

Where are you looking because a full ADS kit is more than a full King kit with clickers??

I'm looking at upgrading my suspension now and the features ADS puts into their build and design in a lot of ways seems superior to other offerings but its hard to choke down the price differential.

Nitrocharger shocks, 888 coil up front, and 300lb constant rear dakar pack.

Are you thinking it’s your current shocks because they are spent or just not a good combination for what kind of weight you’re running out back or just not the quality of ride you were expecting from the Nitrochargers? Did you go with the 90000 or 90021 SoftRide shocks?

90021 rear and 60091 front. The truck just likes to have a very mild bounce driving down the road. Its not all the time but i can feel the truck bounce from front to back. Put my tire carrier on and its way more noticeable since there is more potential energy in the back of the truck now.

Stock coil spring rate is 717 lbs in the 3rd gen. Your 888’s are 650. That could be a problem after some time getting premature wear. I just read about the spring rates in the toytec lift thread. They said they sent the stocks off to be tested.

Still not sure if that would explain the back and forth sensation driving down the road. From front to back.

Talked with a custom suspension company. They asked me what psi i run (40) they told me to lower to (32-35) see if that changes anything. So i have a decent 300 mile trek this weekend ill run at there recommended psi and see what happens. :notsure:

Could be ocolation when the seams in the road are the same as wheel base it causes a funky bounce

Driving around today put about 200 miles on. I honestly want to say the frame is flexing between the bed and cab causing my unsensational bouncing effect, making it worse with the tire carrier. May plate or well cross supports in...
