Installed yesterday on 33x12.5 17x8 method nvs. Still need to get alignment. Had the cab mount chop done Friday and the only rub is on the front sport lip, which I trimmed. No aal installed, I’m ok way bro lean for now being I’m a Brotaco lol

I like the ride. Firmer than stock, but I like my truck to ride like a truck. I haven't ridden in one with the same setup and no OL installed so I can't say that there would be a noticeable difference.

BTW, looking at your member name I would think you are in the southern MD area

Follow up on the follow up.

Another 300 miles passed including the Holy Jim trail run.

Measurements still about the same so it appears to have settled. Just took the same freeway route I took the first day after install and the firmness I had softened a little as even my wife complained less about it.

Great bang for the buck if they can be found.

Anyone have measurements before and after WITHOUT AAL?

Trying to figure out if I need one since I will be adding 110# distributed evenly to the bed and 132# in the very front (bumper/winch). Don't want to get an AAL and lift the rear too much if the bumper/winch brings the front down.

Anyone got a reverse taco lean with the pro suspension setup? I even just put in an AAL for the rear thinking that if one leaf had a little more curve I would put it on the lower pass rear side. Well I did that and I like the way it rides and drives but the only way I get matching numbers for front 37 and rear 38 is if I am backed up on a very very slight angle up (almost maybe 5 degrees). If I turn around so a slightly more weight is to the rear of the truck then the measurement is a 1/4 lower on pass front and pass rear is 1/2 lower. Tires are new and same pressure. My truck was this way before I did the AAL (it was just 2 inches lower in the rear) and I have a pro suspension setup (factory). I did ask a suspension guy and he said nothing is noticeably damaged and not a bent frame or anything. He did point out that he saw the lower rear passenger side as about a 1/4 inch lower than what he would expect and it goes all the way up to where you can see, probably just if you're looking for it, the bed alignment with the rear window rubber tilts down to the passenger side. Jacking up on the frame in the rear passenger corner doesn't seem to change it much (a little) so about the only things I am thinking is either I could put 1/4 inch of washer shims where passenger side of bed meets the frame (doesn't look hard to do) then it will at least not be so noticeable to me. Still baffled on why I would have a reverse lean and I know my front shocks are adjusted by the factory for the taco lean since I saw the front settings. I think it was the DS showing adjustment ring so set higher while pass doesn't. The good news is if I get in the truck it probably balances out somewhat since weight since I am around 200. Could just be the whole leaf pack is weaker on the pass rear side from use so it shows a drop faster than the driver side is what I am thinking?? I do like the AAL I installed and it was pretty inexpensive but I do wonder if I should have just replaced the whole leaf packs with the 2 inch gain included. Good for now and may just call it good with 1/4 inch or less bed shim because it doesn't hurt anything. I just see it now that the suspension guy pointed it out. I have hauled a large sod load in the past that had it sitting pretty low in the rear and also had my truck on a trailer with my motorcycle (700 lbs) in the bed for 1800 miles which could have affected the strength of the leaf springs in the rear. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this with the pro suspension or after adding it?

    Thanks!
Not much difference between the front and rear... I think I’ll be good without AAL lol

Depends on the dealership. I know some do them and actually stock the part and tool becuase it was so common for them to fix. Ask your local dealer, if not find a shop or if your on the east coast like me... I went to Raleigh and had ECGS do it themselves.

For those of you that missed out on the discounted TRD Pro Bilstein sets here is your opportunity. Anybody want a decent used TRD Pro (Baja) Bilstein Kit? They are only $50.00. Just came across this on Craig's List. I have no association and only posting it for a laugh. I sure hope the coating on the exterior of the new shocks hold up better than these after a few years.

Hmm those can't be rebuilt....you would have to buy new. Better off buying 6112 or if your lucky a pro setup

Wow, those must of been soaking in salt. I have a 2014 TX Baja and mine look almost like new as well as my truck. I did notice the bottom of the rear shocks getting a rusty color when putting on my AAL's yesterday but not the tops or the reservoir. Those look really bad!

I had the tsb bearing put in with 5100 lift. No arguments. 18 months ago and 48k. Still no issues.

No overload. Happy I went without. Got more lift in the rear than I expected.
