    Noted. It should slip into the right side far enough as to not need an elongated hole.
    The printer uses fine powder to make the actual part, and sometimes leaves residual powder buildup in tiny crevasses(such as the right side channel) Scraping the channel out with a razor before install could remove any excess buildup that was preventing it from seating 100% in

    got mine, installed.

    I can see how people stripped the screw if they used a Phillips bit that was too small... I'd use the biggest then go down until it fits, less likely to strip. Also, I had no trouble getting it seated, but I followed @mesojdm advice and ran a razor down the slot before, then just firmly pushed it into place. VERY IMPRESSED with the tolerances you worked out meso no slop (same on the dome/map lights)

    It's not common, 99% of them fit perfect. Someone brought it to my attention, so I investigated and that was the conclusion. I'm happy to refund you $22 dollars back and you can keep it as a nice coaster:)

    Why did they have to make it difficult and run the threads all the way to the end...
