Cool, saw a few posts about it earlier thanks. Wanted something more plug-n-play (lazy).

Everything works with the ones I got except the DRL which will just require splicing into the DRL wires on the back of the headlight. What works: Sequential TS, LB, HB, and the DRL ends up being a yellow LED bar like my profile photo instead of white.

Pretty easy man. There is a few YouTube videos for it. Be careful pulling the side of the bumper out of the plastic by the front wheel that holds part of the headlight bracket down. It was really cold when I did mine so the plastic clip broke pretty easy.

It took me about 2 hours and I took my time and tested everything multiple times before putting everything back together.

I have humidity buildup... going to try and reseal the housings, it isn't due to the plug that I cut either because I sealed that up substantially. Maybe I could put a silica pack behind the bulb caps if there's room, but that might be dangerous. Both housing have this problem. Anyone else? Thoughts?

Also looks like there is dust inside the housing, which wasn't there when I installed them.hard to capture in a photo. IMG_2967.jpg

Ordered from Protuninglab and got the HIDs included. Light install went fairly easy but HIDs were a bit tricky. Would have helped if instructions were included.

Very strange. Been watching mine since install and so far so good, even after a touchless car wash today

which HIDs did you throw in there? Do the headlights come with Halogen projectors? or are they HID projectors? I am new to the light game so from my limited research i read you cant throw HIDs in a halogen projector. ( I mean, you can but then you will blind everyone on the road)

Like vbpiper said, you can do HID's in halogen projectors. I ran them on my oem projectors for a year with no issues and i'm running them in these new oemassive halogen projectors.

I am running the hid kit from kensun. They are not the best on the market, but I feel they aren't the worst either. I have been running this brand for 4-5 years now and have never had any issues with their bulbs or ballasts.

I will have to admit that the oem projector is a better light output than these oemassive ones using hid's, but the overall look of the oemmassive ones are 10 fold better than oem housings.

Agreed. I want the new setup you're making for your friend because I could have both looks and performance:)

Waffling on buying these as I am not seeing a whole lot of feedback on the light output/visibility of these VS the OEMToyota setups. Really interested in NOT pursuing the BHLM path due to costs and probable mistakes I would make so leaning heavily towards these OEMMassive units.

I am interested in the performance and whether or not folks feel that the OEMMassives at least hold their own against OEMToyota with halogens as well as anyone that has opted for the HID kit route.

Realizing that they will never perform like a retrofitted unit or something that MESO puts his hands on but hoping to hear that these are at least on par with OEMToyota performance (DRL light strip aside)

    - Did you stick with halogen or go with the HID kit from OEMMassive (or even another HID kit)?

    - Do you see a marked performance improvement, about the same, or worse?

    - How much adjustment did you have to do to get the OEMMassive units lined up so they are legit for street use again/not raccoon hunting?

    - Any regrets??

I feel that the light output comparison between oem and oemassive with 6k hid's, the advantage goes to the oem housings. The light output isn't horrible on the oemassive housings, but not as good. The other downfall with the oemassive housings are that the drl's are no where near as bright as the oem housings. Now, those 2 downsides of the oemassive, for me, are still plenty enough for me to enjoy the oemassive housings as they make my black truck front end look 10 times better and although the drl's are not as bright, they are much cooler looking and the sequential blinkers just add more to the overall look.

If I had the skills or ballz, I would do what mesojdm is doing to his friends set and upgrade the projectors and led bar because it sounds like working on these are easier than oem housings.

So to answer your question, no regrets as of right now. Sure I would like to change a couple things, but I wanted to change things on the oem housings too.
