@riz_atx , were you at Pluckers on Friday night at the Y? Wife said she thought she parked behind you. Kind of described your truck. No pic of course... I'll learn her

Had to change out a receptacle to a GFCI one. Easy enough but had to play find the breaker... Always something.:D

At least over the years I update the panel schedules as I do stuff. You're welcome future owners.

Throw it in the trash and use some Goo Gone (Not goof off) to remove the residue.

    Done! :woot:

You could use 3M double sided adhesive to put it back on if you really wanted it.

Yessir. I’ve done the goo gone step already. You know of any specific double sided tape to use to try and put it back on there? Or just good ol 3m would do the trick?

Good ole 3M should work well

You going to paint it black before putting it on again?

Also, how the heck did it fall off?

Going to stick with the chrome for now. I’ll eventually get around to blacking everything out whenever I get new front and rear bumpers. I just saw the bottom of your last post about the 3M:hattip:

Sounds Good! My truck came with 9 emblems on it (yes nine)

Needless to say, they are all gone now. Makes the truck easier to clean and keep clean in my opinion.

I can list the emblems if you want to know lol.

Super strange, was the adhesive molded to the letters? Like OEM?

Lol yeah I debadged my old truck and it looked cleaner for sure.

I just bought this truck and haven’t decided which direction to go with it yet. The limited Tacoma’s have so many chrome accents and if I took them off and just had the chrome mirrors then it would look a little funny. Don’t want to do any plasti dipping because that eventually comes off. So many things I want to get done before getting rid of all the chrome.

Maybe I just have just bought a TRD? :bananadead:
