If I can make my money back on the initial cost of this truck (with DMV backfees and title services) which would be about $1,000 - and the average cost of materials which would be $500 I expect to sell it and buy another truck with lower mileage off Copart with the 5VZ and swap it into my truck and swap my 3RZ into that truck and sell the 3RZ truck.

I don't think I'll have an issue selling it considering it has the 5VZ and was pretty loaded at the factory. Weird thing is WITH the mileage it has (450k) KBB still says it's worth $3,000-$4,000 to a private party sale.

After looking at Craigslist and Autotrader that's about the going rate for 200-300k 2.4l 5-lugs. California premium of course.

 

Finally, install my custom bed side trd decals. Nothing fancy, but that is what I got done today.

 

I’m doing everything possible to avoid that next step to 35’s but I fear it’s inevitable progression haha

Hope the trip was sweet man! Looks like your hose clamp is to far out pinching right on the flare move the clamp in to the cover a little more. And shitty hose clamps are garbage sold at alot of automotive stores.

Use the Toyota pre pressured spring clamps, they are by far the best

 

true true got a trip planned as soon as i get the rack from you, rock slides and skid plates. i dont think my rust skid plates will hold up from much abuse
