OP you could of stopped this in the beginning... There are rules against what happened here... Next time report their posts instead of being forced to sell at their recommended price...

"DO NOT BASH for sale threads in what you think is a good price to sell an item. PM the OP and give them a suggestion. You have been warned and action will be taken if this happens"

First, let me say that I usually don't get involved in this sort of thing because internet arguments are childish and they seldom solve anything. That being said...

The sense of entitlement displayed by some members of this forum is disturbing. If someone wants to sell something at a given price then that is their business. If another member doesn't like it then they don't have to buy it. I don't know why people assume that because we all congregate here to share a common interest that we are somehow obligated to follow some imaginary code of conduct when it comes to fair selling prices. The OP was completely in compliance of the BST rules when they posted. If anything, the persons that were complaining were in violation of the posted TW rules for BST. To quote the rules:

"DO NOT BASH for sale threads in what you think is a good price to sell an item. PM the OP and give them a suggestion. You have been warned and action will be take action if this happens".

I'm not a moderator and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but that seems pretty cut and dry. My rant is now over and I feel better.

Normally I wouldn't add anything to this discussion, but I found the dialogue in this posting to be egregious enough to reply to.

You should mind your own business in the future, guy.

"Decent," "nothing wrong," "I guess," and "Maybe," are all highly subjective terms - not to mention, if you're not purchasing or negotiating to purchase them, your thoughts on the price are of zero import. The market will speak for itself, if the price is too high or unfair, they won't sell.

If the OP were seeking a profit, who are you to try to take money out of a seller's pocket, close-knit community, or otherwise?

Holy moly yall are a bunch of bullies around here. First of, OP is just a regular guy, doesn't seem to have a business or anything of that sort. He just happened to buy a set of the TRD Pro kit as an insurance to the set he already has on his truck. That makes perfect sense to me. Then he decided it would probably be a long while until he would need to use them, so he decided to get rid of them. Did he ask a ridiculous price at first? Yea, 1200 is pretty steep man. I doubt he was going to be able to sell them at that price. But then it would be his dumb mistake to list them so high and then i am sure he would lower the price so he could get rid of them faster and trouble-free. No one was being forced to buy them. Now if someone really wanted them and was not willing to pay 1200 dollars, they could have 1) pm'ed him and bargained with him, that might have worked. 2) or they could moved on and not even offered anything. Something else people could have done was suggest other prices to help other members get what they wanted, and to help the OP get rid of his merchandise. Simple as that. Like someone else said, he owes nothing to anyone. It's not as if he had over 30 sets and was controlling the market and holding these kits hostage to steep prices. These kits were at a discounted price for over a month. The people that over thinked buying the kit, and waited last minute to get one and either missed out on one or paid a few hundred over the 650 price tag(like myself) its on us for waiting to pull the trigger. Instead we are here, bullying OP into selling his kit for what he got it for. Honestly, he should make a few more bucks off this kit, definitely not hundreds, but something for pulling the trigger when they were still available. Wouldn't it be great if everyone that waited a month to buy one, when they were 650, still got one for that price although they hesitated. Over thinking ends up costing a pretty penny.

Don't do it brotha! Hater's gonna hate but don't let them win! If anyone picks these up locally from OP at his new asking price you better buy him a case of good craft beer and a gift card for a massage with a happy ending. I think we all know these spots exist in Socal!

I think some people are simply jealous, i don't see any other possible reason to go out of ones way to complain. The price literally bugged some people so much, that they felt it is necessary to waste time being disrespectful lol. Love it!
