Replacing my bumper has turned into a money. So many things that build off others. I feel like recovery is important enough to spend the money for reliable, quantity gear but damn does it get expensive

Can't wait to get my bumper. Yalls trucks look so damn good.

Anybody got their limb risers functional yet?

Some good ala carte options: https://www.blueridgeoverlandgear.com/The-Snatch-Strap-Recovery-Kit-p/21rc-4.htm?CartID=1
You can buy the soft shackles, strap and cover separately if you don't want the full kit

Sounds like it would be nice to have both 2"/8000kg and 3"/11000kg snatch straps in the kit; eventually.

I definitely want to do soft shackles. I hadn't looked at Blue Ridge prices yet but their prices on soft shackles are the best I've seen yet.

That tree saver is a good price too. I might have to do that one. I've been looking at Treaty Oak and Bubba Rope straps but the price on that stuff is hard to swallow

I didn't do a full write up but here are some pic's from the install. SDHQ instructions are quite easy to follow and their online video is even better but both only cover Warn Zeon Winches and I went with an M8000-s instead. As a result I focused on the control pack mounting images since I had to make that up as I went. The M8000 doesn't require the cutting of the center support like SDHQ calls for (Zeon winches are taller and hit the brace). Anyhoo.... here are some pics, hope it helps you decide which route you want to go. If you have any further questions I'll help any way I can.

Take a look at Tractor Supply in their winch section. I bought some snatch blocks there way cheaper. Then you can piece together a recovery kit for much less cash. And just use a tool bag to put all the gear in to.

Happy belated Mark. I caught a baby large mouth Friday evening. That was my best haul so far this year. On the trusty Rapala floating minnow.
