HPT/justDSM tuned factory ecu, URD Headers, JFR Y-Pipe/l 3" exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Maggy SC (JFR ported), JFR ported lower intake manifold, 76mm tb, 2.5 pulley, 640cc injectors, CSF Radiator, custom electric fan wit Autocoolguy controller, JFR SC pulley wrap mod
It will stay at stoic in closed loop like stock at all altitudes. Ignition timing and shift points I imagine are improved.

I realize what I appreciate most about the 91 tune is the removal of the hesitation from when you press the pedal to the engine’s increased response. It’s immediate.

Additionally...and this is pure drivers seat observation...the engine sounds more efficient in its detonation. The timing is soooo much better.

I am glad you said that about how the engine sounds. I noticed it too when I drove home after getting tuned but I thought maybe I was just crazy.

I noticed my stock truck is very peppy in the morning when the air is cool and the truck hasnt completely warmed up yet... is the difference in the tune like having this much peep all the time, or is it more significant than that?

For the record...I get nothing from Mat (OVTune) for my positive comments about his programming modifications to my truck. I paid the $500 to be in the first round as the others did.

I hope more folks will report back. It’s kinda surprising how few have.

Additionally, Mat, I suspect you’re crazy busy, but you pop in and out of this thread and there’s and wanting audience; lots of questions unanswered. Hope you can find some time to answer your audience soon.

1st Question...please post some Dyno numbers.

It’s more significant than that. The engine is just timed better and the hesitation is gone. Engine will quickly go to redline when needed to pass or overtake another vehicle.

This is exactly what I experienced with the ucon, the engine felt so much more silky smooth

Thanks for the reply, i would love to have the get up and go mine has while cold... if its more dranatic than that, i will be tickled! Im just tired of going to pass someone and it seems like i have to floor the truck to get it to move, then it downshifts two gears and screams... still barely making any steam. Granted my other truck is a bulletproofed and tuned 6.0 ford, Obviously im not expecting what it will do... just want to feel like its doing something when it sounds like its straining its guts out.

Once the new handhelds get here I will go into depth with all the features, tunes, what's changed, full development just like the 3rd gen. Along with the new developments we will be working on.

Not to say I am in any way ignoring you guys, it's just been a long road to get us to where we wanted the 3rd gen to be, it was the primary focus. That is finally finished. I posted about a week or go about this.

To really get development into gear I need to either get a few more trucks over for some R&D (free).

I'd also like to hear what you guys would like to have developed beyond the standard 87 / 91 / 91+ SC maps

I would like a 91 NA tune that goes for efficiency that also deletes the secondary air injection system permanently and remaps the tranny to hold gears longer.

Is there anything the new handheld will do that the current one we have doesn’t?

I am looking forward to reporting but at the moment... waiting on my calibration code to be accepted. I know ovtuned is working hard on the remaining codes so I will just wait it out.

Me too. I'm a buyer of the first batch of handhelds. My ecu calibration file is still not recognized. Still waiting for the initial upload. 3YWG2900

I would like to get this working before any further development.
