Yeah I bought the ECGS bearing & puller set a while ago too and so far I haven't noticed any vibe issues in the brief time I've driven it so far so I think I'm going to just let it ride for now.

I'm old school, I just solder and heat shrink everything. If it requires a mechanical crimp, I still flow solder into it after tightening the joint and heat shrink it. (Battery terminals, large amp wiring. Etc.)

No you don’t have to be a member, just members get lane priority is all so if it’s really busy, they could give a lane to a member before a random, normally doesn’t happen, but on weekends it can get packed. Other then that you pay by the hour, they have a lot of rentals. If I remember right if you rent something your looking at buying and buy that gun they will deduct the rental fee for that gun. Overall though it’s a very nice place, usual gun rules, sign some papers and watch a 10min safety video, buy your paper if you don’t have any to shoot, and your good to go.

If you are heading out towards chandler, c2 tactical by Ikea is actually pretty nice as well, just to give you another option.

Cool, I have free guest passes and free handgun rentals if you wanna meet up there some time. Only problem at the moment is I'm leaving for Portugal and Spain in the morning for a couple of weeks. Let me know if you and your wife ever want to go man! I gotcha!

Edit: 15% discount on ammo too.

Right on man! I'm back on the 21st, so any time after that. Also, if you want to do a weekend morning, we can get on the range an hour earlier than non-members.

Well right now my truck is down because there is a half-wired switch pros draped over the fender but once I have it more squared away I guess I could make a trip over... I think @MICK is out your way too (more north though) and I'm eventually gonna get his sliders if he had time to take them off this weekend.

I know how to solder but I don't have an iron out here. For most stuff aside from an inline join (basically any terminal) I would just crimp, and I've only had one crimp fail on me so far- my hella horn harness for the Taco had one of the positive terminals slip clean off, which is a massive fluke I can't explain because it had heat shrink on there too...

Don't forget that Thursdays are "ladies day" so your wife will get her range rental free if you can swing getting over there at any point during the day.

SGC has a pretty amazing selection but I still am annoyed that they told me they would make me pay an individual fee on every firearm for transferring my collection here. You know, when some customer rolls in and is like "Hey gun store, I have like $20,000 of guns I need to move to my new state!" you don't think "Oh let's nickel and dime this fucker out on the transfer fees so they never come back!" you think "let's work out a deal because clearly a shitload of your disposable income goes to guns, so let me try to win your future business as a new resident!"
Like I'm not expecting hand relief or free transfers, but nothing in terms of a volume discount? Really? I know how 4473's work, I've filed hundreds of them myself- extra guns don't cost extra money.

    Anyways rant off.:p

C2 is nice, pretty friendly. I was there late one night so I couldn't tell you how busy they normally are.
