Seconded on the pre-made. You're still going to end up with a lot of work to terminate all the wires on the fuse box with connectors and wire in all the accessories you want to use.

 

Yeah, bring on the snow to Madawaska! Actually rather it don't snow but whatever.

 

Nothing like fresh powder, though. Even if it is sap snow.

 

leaning that way, I was hoping that some folks might be the market to buy one so I could build some, but if the demand isn't there I am not spending monies on supplies.

Have you been up recently?

 

The ideal would be a good foot of fresh snow 2 or 3 days before we get there, they are able to groom the system before we arrive and then it's way below freezing and bluebird days the whole time. It looks like it's gonna be snow falling the whole time we are there, that's kinda like riding a motorcycle in the rain and sloppy trails but no complaining here. We rented a house directly on the lake, so it can really suck if the lake has no snow cover because we'd have to take the trail around every day.

 

I would be scared to go on any lake about now, been wicked warm.

Sabattus lake still had about 8 inches of black ice underneath about 8 inches of white this past weekend, according to the guy I talked to at the gas station this morning. Madawaska should have at least the same, I would think.

 

I don't doubt there is ice, but I thought I heard a few week ago about folks being asked to get camps of the ice and what not. And Ifor sure as shit wouldn't just assume there is enough without verifying.

 

Yeah, Long Lake. The house owner said there is still 3 feet of ice.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't want to drive out on the ice right now, that's for sure. I was surprised that there was that much on Sabattus, because Cobbossee stream is completely open from the dam in West Gardiner all the way to Pleasant Pond, just some ice on the edges.

 

Don't be a baby, load up the truck and drive on out to the middle and give it a test!

No not really, trying to build my PTO back up. I plan to go up Memorial Day weekend and open the house. Should be winterized right now
