PTR13-35150 - Bilstein TRD PRO kit - Upgrade??

    Wrapped up the install yesterday. HeadStrong aal and a 1/4” spacer up front. Hardest part by far was getting the brake line spacer to line up.

    The following numbers were taken on stock wheels and tires.
    Before:
    l/f- 34 5/8
    r/f- 34 7/8
    l/r- 35 7/8
    r/r- 36 3/8
    After 30 miles:
    l/f- 37 1/2
    r/f- 37 1/2
    l/r- 37 7/8
    r/r- 38 1/2

    Like everyone has said ride feels slightly stiffer on the road but not bad.

    @Sev looks awesome! This was my plan with 0.25" Spacer and Overload in. Any issues with clamp install from the AAL?

    You've got a lot of lift there! Keep us updated on the settling please.

    Thank you. Do you mean the factory spring clamps? If so I had to cut them off. Otherwise the install went smoothly. It helps to mount the jackstands as high as possible so you can drop the diff lower to give yourself room.

    Exactly - how many clamps did you end up having to cut? Angle grinder?

    Bilstein can but no point unless they replace the body.

    However someone may want those extenders. Those things are pricey.

    The rear clamp definitely needed to be cut. I may have gotten away with the front but cut that too. Yes, grinder with a flap disc then pry the clamp open and off. Then ground down the rest of the rivet.

    Ahh...without the spacers would you have been same height on L/F and R/F? Some people get the lean on driver side some have not.

    In theory I would have been 1/2” lower but who knows. Yes some people are still getting a lean even though the coils are set on different levels.

    Yeah I have HS AAL on the way (hope it will be in the mail sooner or later)...wondering if I should go ahead and order spacer...I hate reworking something...Not sure if there is an easy way to add spacer after the fact.

    You would have to remove the coilovers again. If you want a spacer I”d order it and do it all at once.

    To install the spacer it just sits on top of shock...no need to mess with spring?
