Just a friendly reminder that we guarantee the lowest out the door price on all the tires we carry! If a competitor has a cheaper advertised out the door price, we'll beat it! Just shoot us a PM and we'll make sure you're taken care of

These tires are the bomb-diggety in the snow. We got close to a foot of heavy wet snow last night, and I needed to move my truck out of the driveway so I could snowblow.

Our town plows the sidewalks, and the road had been plowed too so the 8ft of driveway between the two had ~2 1/2ft in it. Put it in 4LO, and backed out like there was nothing there.

I was initially worried that I had to reverse out because I usually back in when I park, but the falkens gripped great and clawed me right through. These tires continue to impress at a great price.

I find it interesting that your DTD is different than the DT store in town... are you different companies with similar names?

Discount Tire Direct falls under the umbrella of Discount Tire but is a separate business that is designed to compete with the online market.

I'm still reading through the thread, so if this has been answered, I'll link when I come across it.

Wanting to know how these compare to the duratrack, at ko2, Cooper at3 for longevity, noise (especially after ~20k miles), road handling, sidewall durability, and wet handling. Yeah, pretty much everything (thiuth I run hakkapolitas for winter)... Specifically interested in the P285/70r17. I really liked my duratracks, but they got too loud as they wore. I do a lot of overland, mixed highway and dirt, but no real rock crawling etc, mostly dirt roads, fire roads, etc to go camping or checking out ghost/mining towns.

I did see one mention early in the thread that these are a lot more quite than duratracks, which would be really nice.

I have the same setup. I removed the front mudflaps and have zero rubbing issues and the truck actually rides better than on the original wheels/tires.

Just ordered a set of P265/75-16 with the $100off coupon from @Discount Tire Direct on eBay, total cost was $460. I hope I wont regret not going with the LT tire but since I'm driving 90% on roads it just made more sense to save the 11lbs/tire in weight.

At that price buy a few spares so when you do blow out a tire you’ll be prepared. :D

Ebay Link then use the coupon code pmotors318 for $100off that price, should be $456. I'm in California as well and there was no sales tax and free shipping. If they wont match $456 including tax I would cancel the order at the store and order through the ebay store.

@Discount Tire Direct is it possible just to order 1? All i see on the site is sets of 4. I picked up a matching OR wheel and wanted to throw a matching spare on it.

Thank you for your business. You should be fine with the SL version. Many people run that tire with solid results.

Please let us know your thoughts when you get some miles on them.
