What did they charge and did they remove the 2 rear cats or just make the y pipe after them?

They cut them right after the cats and retained the factory exhaust connection. I don’t know if the picture helps but the drivers side pipe was cut just before the turn down. Price was 230$. Initially when I went there in December I was quoted 150, but that was in the parking lot.

I read this post this morning before I crashed and want to go back and read it again. Too many pro's and con's for my brain at 2 am. One thing I saw was prices will go up. Of course every year things increase in price.

I hope when the time comes I'll be able to afford the best lift I can.

Wish I could have made it but good thing I didn't ditch my chores. I discovered a plumbing emergency that I had to deal with today. This is the final result after 3 hours of research

    20180304_192144.jpg

I had to splice in a metal to pvc fitting behind the tub in the master bedroom.

    I Think I fixed it. I hope.

Just make sure that compression fitting is very tight. Looks like a shark bite could have saved you some time there if the diameter of those pipes are the same.

Is that a PVC supply line to a copper supply line? Make sure the PVC is pressure rated. How old is your house?

Shark Bite? Is that a slide together type fitting? Yea, it's common pvc, so it's rated for supply lines. House was built in 1991. They cheaped out everywhere. Besides it being all copper, which is not cheap, except when it comes to longevity, they didn't have any cutoff valves anywhere. No bleeder valves for any of the outside connections. Crazy. I've been replacing it all with pvc and adding valves everywhere one leak at a time LOL.

That sounds about right for the time period. 80's homes were okay. Idk what happened in the early 90's. Especially with mass produced home. Can't believe there are no shutoffs anywhere. Shark bites are the slide together type fittings. They're expensive but save a lot on labor costs. Have to buy the Shark bite brand though. If not you may have issues. Are you replacing the copper with regilar PVC or Pex plastic?

I'm not sure, I think it was built by Ebenezer Scrooge. The owner cheaped out in the dumbest areas. It sits on 2.5 acres so not a development. Lived in the existing double wide while they built the house. Electric is the same way. SOme of the circuits are so crossed up it drives me nuts trying to fix something there too. Not having a whole filtration system though doesn't help. That is my next big project for the water supply. That and a electronic shut off valve for the main that comes in, that will be tied to my water sensor in the hvac room. Those are not cheap but nice piece of mind.

So I picked these up on the B/s/t forum last Monday. I just replaced my tires and had a terrible wobble at 45-55 mph due to poor alignment so I figured I would buy some new UCAs to help fix that. These were a good deal at the right time, however I saw a bunch of people running JBA on here and I had never heard of them so I looked them up and think I’m gonna sell these and grab a set of JBAs. I like the lower maintenance and protection of the ball joint for the shit winter roads we have here.
