Pass. Talking politics on the internet is a waste of time, effort, and my TW membership.

Back on topic, I ordered these last night. The squirrels are spawning like the enemies from a video game this winter. No sooner do I shoot one and there's another one raiding the chicken coop. This is my second box of 100 just this winter.

Sorta, my last range day with the Kimber I expended a 500rd brick.

For zapping pests in the yard, I am still burning down the same box of Anguilla 38gn, sub sonic, HP match I cracked 3yrs ago.

Not quite 100 squirrels. Probably 80-85, at a guess. This is my second box, that I just ordered.
I've missed a couple of clean kills and had to make a followup shot, and missed 3 or 4 cleanly (I think).

It's unbelievable. I've never had this many before. Usually I shoot 40-50 in a winter.

I'll easily blow through that in 30 minutes at the range. But that's usually 22LR, in a different gun. I use an old Marlin 81 for my squirrel gun, because it shoots subsonic 22 longs & shorts, out of courtesy for my neighbors.

    That would be.
The Marlin is a tube-fed bolt action; I think it holds something like 25 rounds of 22 long; I could hold off an army of squirrels with it if I had to

I ordered two more magazines for my 3rd Gen S&W and a new spring for the 29 year old factory magazine.

And a LT MOD choke for my Beretta shotgun.

I can't hit anything with either gun, but they sure are pretty. :p

Actually working on selling my Sig M400 Enhanced for similar reasons. The M1A is more of what I was looking for, just didn't know it when I purchased the Sig. It's a fine rifle and wish I could justify keeping it but would rather have the cash. I've seen the Fulton rifles and I'll probably switch out a few of my SA parts for Fulton's. They have a great reputation.

I believe the M14 and M1A are one in the same basically... Military vs Civilian.

That is true. However the M14 is a select fire rifle. And the Springfield M1A happens to be a semi auto rifle. Just like the Fulton rifle. But all the internet experts like to chime in.

The M1A is a Springfield rifle built on a cast receiver loosely based on the original drawings. M1A is a trademarked name.

The remainder are built on forged receivers branded and sold as M14, or M14S; including the Fulton. They simply lack the third tab on the right rear of the receiver where the disconnector rides. Regardless, still an M14.

Sorry to insult you with my correction, but you were wrong.

Edit: Had to check mine when I got home. Yep, still marked M-14S.

I've got the same gun, same grips, and it's the only thing that I trust myself to hit anything with. That's probably because it's the one I shoot the most.

I usually carry mine in a Simply Rugged pancake. Comfortable as hell, but doesn't conceal well. How do you like the blackhawk?

    Yep.

M1A is synonymous with a civilian version of the M14, but only Springfield makes the M1A. Just like only Colt makes AR-15s.
