    Since I had to work this weekend I was replaced by Steve's stepdaughters boyfriend. He is one of the car builders at Dirtfish Rally school. Apparently it take a professional race car builder to replace me! Not really. He just wants to score points with mom and dad. IMG_0440.jpg It has missed leg day to many times. IMG_0437.jpgIMG_0439.jpg IMG_0438.jpgI would totally be ok with having this for a work place.

    I can't wait for the new episode to come out on the tube when they took pretty much everything up there!

    We have Rally cross over here it's pretty fun. Don't get taught anything but it's done at different venues and a lot of fun you should look into it I'm sure they probably have it there as well. AutoX mixed with rally!:thumbsup:

    They do. I used to do autocross years ago, it was rad, I sucked. I would totally dig some formal instruction.

    Come out here to the east coast I think there is a school on every corner especially here in NC since we are the capitol of Racing in the US!

    I could give ya some lessons. I ran SSCA in an old VW, did some circle track racing, go kart, autox, etc.

    :drunk::headbang:
    I had a 92 GTI with the 2.0 16v I converted to a bosch electronic fuel inj running a MoTec standalone. I had it sitting on custom bilstein coilovers with H&R springs. Man VIR was a lot of fun I would carry my DS rear wheel around the whole oak tree turn. There were a lot of guys in my class that would freak out when they were behind me and say that bc it would be a good 6"+ off the ground.

    I use to go to Waterfest every yr. I think that was where autox really kicked off was the water cooled VW crowd. Englishtown was so much fun. Now the VW scene is just weird before it was all about max performance now they got that whole stance life thing going on. :der:

    Sadly most of my project cars and stuff I did I never photographed or really cared to. I just wanted to get it done and have fun doing it than to worry about pics. So now they are only memories for me and no "proof" so to speak. Even with the truck most of the pics I have are from other people. I only took 1 pic on install day lol.

    Same, I'm in my 40's, my wife has to remind me there is a camera in my phone. Then she complains about the quality of pics I take of our kids.

    Hahaha yeah I am 37. I end up getting my scouts to show me how to do things on my phone. I am a horrible picture taker as well. I really need to get better at it for the kiddo's sake.
