So the thought behind this thread is that I recently sold my motorcycle and bought a Taco. I plan on putting some money into my truck from what I received from the bike. I have a 2017 MT super white trd sport and the only thing I’ve done to it is vinal lettering on the tailgate and put a PRO grille on.

So the questions stands, if you were given $2,000 what upgrades would you do to your truck?!

Take your pick, wheels & tires or suspension.

Nothing wrong with your savings account too.

Depends what you do with the truck.

Off-road all the time? Suspension and tires.
Commute to/from work every day? Oem audio plus kit.
Haul stuff? Sell and buy a fullsize.

Wheel and tires! That was the first thing I did...and the best thing I ever did for my truck (so far).

i have the MT and i am very clear that i would get the OV tune for the ECU, followed by tires. and you'll have a little left over, or maybe you can score a set of wheels and tires used. i feel that this motor and MT setup are sleeping in a coma before getting the ECU flash. this MT truck is tons of fun and I'd hate to miss it cus the factory tune sucks so much, numbs and mutes the motor horribly.

If it's financed, work on payoff.

If it's paid off, I'd go with the tall/skinny tires on OE wheels, no suspension mods required. But you'll gain some clearance and likely have a more durable tire.

After that, I'd wait and see how you use it, and what areas need improvement to help increase your functionality.

First thing I did was plate bumper, saved me once in an ice storm before I did everything else. Hit the ditch and fixed everything with a water hose and two wrenches for the bumper bolts when i got home
