    Used my dremmel tool to cut it off and got new screw. Was a MF, Good luck!

    Mine was tight as F^~k! I don’t remember who or what post, but a TW member suggested using a ratchet with a PH2 head. The leverage from the ratchet helped break it free.

    I think people are over thinking this...

    I just used the biggest phillips bit that fit, then put my hand on the back side of the door and pushed against (mainly to prevent me from damaging the door) but it came loose with a moderate amount of force... I wouldn't use a ratchet just because to get pressure on the screw it self you'd have to have both hands on the ratchet, and you risk bending the door back too far...

    Umm, whats this fuss about people having trouble with a screw? I put mine on about 4 minutes ago, selected the appropriate sized screw driver, inserted it into the hole, and turned. The screw came out and the gasshole went in. No fuss or fight. I do hit things with a large hammer for a living day in and out but damn, its a single small screw.

    Installed. Only problem I had was getting the screw put back in. The whole on the gasshole didn't like up perfectly. Thanks for great product!

    Same here, just kinda angled the head of the screw away from the truck and pushed like hell, It finally caught and I was good to go.

    I’m an idiot and was checking the wrong end of the stant 10504’s barrel to see if threads went to the end. They don’t. Gasshole came today, it fits, but not very snug, so it’s too easy to knock out.

    With so many gassholes, it is not unusual to expect some are not big enough to fill it. One day, you’ll find the right sized gasshole for you.

    Everyone.... use a P3 phillips bit, its the fat blunt tipped one. You won' strip anything.
    Cant tell you how many door hinges I've taken off where someone used a regular phillips and stripped the hell out of it...
