Supercharger install is under way. 1 day down, should be all done tomorrow. Too busy to take multiple pics but here are the one I got today:

Took 2 hours to get the dang UCON installed. There is NO room around that ECU to maneuver hands and no worry about pulling wires and messing stuff up.

    UCON 1.jpg

    Everything reinstalled and connected.
    UCON 2.jpg

Manifold off. About to pull the fuel injectors and spark plugs
    Manifold Off.jpg

changing the exhaust cam gears that go with the UCON.
    exhaust cam gear.jpg

To do: thermostat, install the S/C, intercooler, and run the hoses.

Did you get the quick release door hinges when you got your doors? I’m about to pull the trigger on the same doors. I’ve run my truck doorless before and it’s a pain in the ass unbolting those things

I’ll be happy when it’s all done. That’s all I’m saying right now haha

I did not. They didn’t sell them when I got them and I just never got around to pursuing them. Now that I’m in WA it rains too often to really keep em off anyway. Maybe once I’m back on the east coast though

Yea man, I regretted not doing it all at once. Learn from my lesson. Love the locker. I drove a LONG time without it and had great people teaching me how to drive offroad so with it, and the lessons learned without it, it’s a tank.

All done. I don’t like not having my boost and afr gauge set up, ran out of time at the do-it-yourself garage (also y it took 3 days instead of 2, I couldn’t work from dusk til dawn). I’ll tell ya, working 3 days on a S/C gets old....but that whine DONT!!!!! We’ll see when the first CEL comes on. I have driven about 20 miles on it so far.

Had to drive home like this cuz I ran outa time at the shop.

Is there a break in period for the SC? I'm sure you'll have to get the AFR/boost guages setup for piece of mind, and curiosity before you can really let it whine at WOT. Or I'm.sure if urd sees something out of the ordinary from data logs, they'll adjust things as needed. Glad you where able to drive it home on it's own power and not in a position of uncertainty. Seems like things went pretty smooth? You can't be in too much of a hurry especially for the first time. Always double or even triple checking and reading directions down to the T takes the longest with things like this I've found.

Couldn’t agree more. It was a little bigger task than I thought (mainly adding the UCON, thermostat, and exhaust gears on top of the S/C as a whole).

    Haha!!!!!!

Dude, I’ll def help. But doing one solo is out of the question. Although if ur not cracking the valve covers and changing thermostats there’s 2 less parts in the equation. You looking to get one?

Thanks man! I’ll feel better once I get the afr and boost gauge installed.
I saw yours is coming along as well

I only changed the thermostat and exhaust cam gears for the UCON from URD. It comes as a 3 piece set.

Mine is a daily as well...which is why I was so “uneasy” about the actual install haha. You’d be making some mean power man with that. I THINK after the URD TCAI, UCON kit, and SC, I should be around 330 hp in a closed environment. I’m gonna get it dyno’d once I have gauges in and all that.
