The Tacoma graveyard, I’ll have to see this. I don’t have any tools to pull anything anyway so might be better that I’m not allowed in.

They pull everything for you. Full service.

Rancho Truck Parts are the ones that had the Chaos UCA's and Fox res front suspension off a Tundra. I'm told it would fit our trucks. Wonder if they still have it they were asking $900.

It'll be page two of the Brett's Rant book. Page one will be devoted to 5100s.

Nope that's what the crazy homeless people do on our mass transit system.

If anyone has ever been to San Francisco and taken BART you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Lemme know if you need a ghost writer. Also chapter three should be all about alignments and why no one should bother going to shops for it if they tear their truck apart as often as we do.

The welds were defiantly deep and strong. Going to smooth it out one day this week if I get home from work with some light out. Then make the guy that welded them on throw some beads where I went alittle to deep on the frame with the grinder then smooth them out again. Then the slider goes back on. Thankfully I got there before he welded all The sides on. The last weld I tried breaking by pushing and pulling on the slider up and down and watched the frames metal flex

So after my 3rd broken door handle in 1 month's time...I've realized this isn't a handle issue (2 can be looked at as unlucky, 3 is something else). It dawned on me today that I haven't oiled my door latches in forever...and I've been on countless dusty trails since the last time. Even with new handles on, they'd open very harshly when the door was closed but nice and gentle when open...which was what made me realize my oversight. The dirt and grime was forcing the mechanisms in the handle to have to apply much more pressure to open the latch. Oiled them up and they're as smooth as butter....

Oil your door latches people...don't end up replacing broken door handles 3 times in a month like my dumb ass

I was going to go with buying 2.5" performance shocks that use the stock mounts without measuring, but that would be pretty good too.

LCA skids would be a pretty good option. :notsure:

Wait, that's really stupid, but where do you even get 2.5" performance shocks that can fit an 18mm peg? Like who makes that haha

King does. I think some of the other companies have bolt-in shocks for 1st gens too.

What did you use to lubricate them and where did you do it?

Did you use OEM door handles?
