I wouldn't mind one of those, but I'd truly prefer the lighter and smaller 1UZ from the SC400.

Yeah, I have an irrational liking for them as well. They have that cool deep-dish old-school look that really makes the tires pop. I hit them with some Duplicolor Wheel Paint. They're almost too shiny; at some point I'll try and track something down that's a little closer to the factory gray.

So after work today my truck did the same shit as yesterday. I gave it gas but it felt as if no air was coming to the engine. I turned it off but then it wouldnt start. Let her rest for a bit then she fired up with a check engine light. This is all happening after installing the airaid tube yesterday. Any ideas?

I did disconnect the battery when i got home to reset the ecu. Lets see what happens tomorrow

Sounds like you have a massive pirate air leak or your MAF plug is falling out intermittently. What is the code BTW?

Take it from someone else who made that mistake... it's just not the same.

They are not extended travel. I was after minimal lift, just wanted a level truck and improve the ride quality

I ride it regularly when I'm there on business (we talked about this recently.. I always stay at Parc 55 by Powell Station).

Trust me... I grew up riding the subways of New York City, the BART is like an exclusive resort compared to the NYC subway.

Yes! Steve. I spoke with him on the phone. He parks his 4Runner right next to the entrance. Wish I had a picture of it.

You're a little closer than I am. If you have access to vehicle that you can load it in and gets better fuel economy than a Tacoma, might be worth the trip.
