I just ordered Chevy bumps to do a top down setup. Energy suspension is supposed to be pretty harsh.

It's hard to tell from the pic as it's so dark, but that front bumper looks like your stock bumper scooped up a bunch of mud while wheeling.

I haven’t research OR armor cause i don’t OR. Just saw this on FBMP this morning and prices seemed ok compared to some I have seen. $700 for front and I think $400 for rear. I’m sure it isn’t a BN.

 

Idk what to do to get it down. Ive adjusted the ant ive grounded the mount directly to the frame and its a very good ground .2ohms. The hole is 1/2in for the ant. The radio is grounded directly to the body, and powered my an acc circuit. What else can i do?

I want a bigger 2 person tent (2+) or maybe even a 3 person as we might take a friend with us. Those with RTTs, any recommendations?

 

For potentially 3 people you'll want pretty big. My hardshell is a 2 cozy person tent (about a full size bed), and the CVT Mt Shasta is about the size of a queen bed. You'll need to look at bigger.

These are the bumps that @tweakit88 and I are going to be running. They are Chevy 1500 OEM bumps mounted to the upper bump stop contact point and will make contact on the leaf springs. Get the Wheelers U-Bolt flip without bumps and you have an entire U-Bolt flip setup for not too much over $100. You can add washers between the bumpstop and frame to increase the length of the bumpstop if need be.

 

These bad boys are not cheap

 

not at all, but life changing seriously. look for used man. go join the RTT thread, and look on the marketplaces around here. used is the way to go.

 

Shasta would be good for 2 people, Scottie’s hardshell would be a more cramped 2 person tent. Rainer would be an excellent 3 person.
But Rainer you either need a long bed or a over the cab bed rack or it’ll hang off the back of the bed (the tent is about 6’ wide) same with the hardshell, Shasta fits well on a short bed.

I’m not familiar with other brands of tents, but I stand by cvt. You won’t get wet and they are well made.
