Speaker questions that are probably already answered

Hey, Whats up? I'm currently looking for stuff to blow my tax refund on, Currently on the speaker question, I looked it up, and it says the back "door" (access cab) of my truck can fit a 6 1/2 speaker, however, the model I am looking at buying (JBL Stadium GTO620) does not fit according to crutch field, If I was just to buy an Amazon speaker bracket (links help) would it be fine?

 

The only reason I can see them saying they don't fit is because the impedance is 2.5 ohms. Which is fine on a stock head unit. When you start too put power behind them such as an amp running 4 ohms it will over drive them.

also give sonic eletronix a look because they sometimes have better prices then crutch does...

 

I have a Kenwood double din. Would you have any other suggstions on other jbl speakers to get for the rear in a 6 1/2

 

I doubt it. If it would fit with a bracket then Crutchfield would show that and include the bracket.

 

Maybe they just dont have a bracket for it. Crutchfield doesn't have many choices when it comes to 6 1/2 speakers for the rear

I recommend hitting up Mr Marv on here. He can answer any questions plus he sells speaker adapter rings made from mdf along with audio equipment. I am running his adapters and speakers.
