Mine settled 3/8" to a 1/2" in a week 500 mile around trip to cabin. 22-1/8 center hub. Front level. Thinking of adding 1/4" spacer both sides.

I just took a measurement on my front. There has been no material settling. Center of the cap (as close as I can eyeball it) to the lowest point on the fender is at or juuuust under 22" on both sides. That is after approximately 500 miles. I took it from Madison, WI to Chicago, IL and back last weekend and drove it about 250 hundred miles before that.

Yea why I don't wanna play that dance with Firestone. UCA and no more going there. But it really depends on the Firestone some are better than others.

A good alignment shop should get a 1.5-2 of caster. Truck shop that did mine got to 2.4 on my stock UCAs

I don't understand if you're adding a leaf why would you take the OL leaf out? I left mine in and my skyjacker 2" softride instructions didn't say to take it out. I didn't have to grind or cut any brackets. Was a breeze to do! Rides just like it did except now the rear is 2" inches higher.

Exactly as you said "it rides just like it did" taking out the overload leaf offers a better ride. It all depends on what you wanna do with the truck. Leaving the overload helps if you tow a lot or keep the bed loaded most of the year.

Okay, so some wanted a softer ride than factory which I can understand. I think mine does ride softer than when it was factory for two reasons. First, I think Tacoma factory rear leaf springs lose a little rigidness anyway judging by some of the measurements and other posts that talk about their leaf pack almost down to the rubber OL bumper. Second, I went with a taller tire (75's dura tracs) which to me have more give than my old BFG's even though I got the "E" rated 10 ply. I do like the dura tracs over the BFG's. No spinning on wet pavement. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up since putting in a leaf and taking one out at the same time was confusing me.

In addition without the OL it reduced rear height to 1.5 vs 2 inches.

Yeah, I will try to get a pic up and reply to you soon on that. For now here is a link to skyjacker soft ride leaf that slides right in with a new center bolt included. Sorry looks like what I got below is for 2005-2014 Tacoma's but the link below this one is for yours although a different brand (Rough Country)....looks the same as what I got but I don't know on that one.

2005-2014 Skyjacker soft ride (this is what I installed)

    http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=31419

This looks like it fits the newer than my 2014 Tacoma's but pic looks just like what I got in the box so might call and ask if it is also a no grind or cutting like what I got above. Cheaper than what I had to pay though.

    http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=9441

I considered this and it looks like they fit your truck but these may require the grinding so I would ask. Strange the other two that I didn't install go all the way up to 2018 but the brand I bought seems to stop at 2014 which make me wonder if they would fit newer Tacomas.

    http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/toyota-tacoma-add-a-leaf-kit-2005-2017

Plus, the same site has the no drill air bags for tacoma's too. I didn't install those but I have seen several on this forum that have... I don't know what years these fit since it looks like 2014 is different than 2015 and newer.

The second link looks to be a single leaf not 3 leaf! Was yours a single?

Just took my truck in for alignment after riding around a week settling...really reputable alignment shop. They were able to get my passenger side caster to 2°, driver is 1.5°

I'm still waiting to get my TSB done for the rear end whine. Part of the TSB is new leafs so I immediately get to pull off new leafs and replace with Dakars. If I had known this was how it was going to go, I might have done something other than order new leafs. I ordered new leafs because mine are sagging already at 16k miles. I guess I will tell myself the new factory leafs would sag quickly too...

I found a guy that does good alignments finally, but pay per alignment. They spend more time and i go out there and watch them, lol. Anyway, i could get 2 on my caster, but had to give up camber, couldn't get 0. Reason i'm considering some UCA's.

Yes, mine was a single leaf added to each side with new center bolt included. The skyjacker box says is 1.5-2" inch but I put it right at about 2" of lift on both sides and I left the OL leaf in. Here is not some of the best pics but its what I have to give you on short notice. Keep in mind, my truck is sitting at least 45 degrees in an uphill driveway. I think it is sitting pretty good and all these pictures including the ones showing the OL rubber bumper spacing are with most of the weight transferred to the rear of the truck due to the driveway. Looks about the same on a level surface about 37" front with post AAL with OL about 38" rear.

The AAL leaf is the one right above the OL leaf that has the straight ears (factory I didn't bend those or cut anything) which holds my added AAL perfectly.
