Lol, I'm still wearing my same jeans from high school....my gf is trying hard for me to buy new ones which will have to happen since some are starting to fall apart.

Morning all! Happy Friday for me!! Sure am glad I'm leaving for northern Maine today.

 

At least you'll be traveling ahead of the weather, instead of in it. Drove up to Medford to go rabbit hunting a couple of years ago in a pretty good snow storm and it made what's normally a 2.5 hour trip into a 4 hour trip, even in a Tacoma with a fresh set of Duratracs.

 

Yeah, and pulling a trailer, I'd not be happy. But today looks good and I guess as long as we leave the hotel tomorrow morning early then we should be ahead of it. And then Sunday I guess is looking clear for weather which is the day we marathon the whole way home in one shot.

Figures, I'm dragging my snowmobiles 430 miles away from home, and home is getting way more snow than where I am going.

 

Yeah, but where you're going has a good base down already. If your snow scene looks like mine, it's 5 inches of crusty, icy corn snow where it hasn't completely melted away.

 

I think I bruised my nut sack this weekend lol

 

We have NOTHING where I am. Really, there is nothing but random snowbanks here and there. This snow storm is totally useless here, all the trail systems are done for the season. The only thing that will be good is it will probably help the lakes melt sooner by adding a shitload of moisture on top of the ice.

Reports say Madawaska has 3' of snow in the fields and 4'+ in the woods.
