    Any issues with dirt getting in to any of the moving parts? I do not offroad my truck, just camping and what not so not worried about it just curious.

    I don't have a set as I don't feel as if I need them (maybe that'll change in a few years as I get older). But I did see a humorous thing in Lowe's parking lot one day. The steps obviously weren't wired correctly and they kept extending and retracting over and over again. And the truck's owner was still inside shopping!

    so real quick question, do you HAVE to open a door in order for them to work?...like if your washing the truck and want to use the step to get the top can you do it without opening a door to do it?....i have no experience with these and never known anyone with them...but am interested in getting a set

    Yes you have to open a door for them to extend. If you want them to stay extended all you have to do is keep your foot on them & close the door, wait a couple seconds & they'll stay down. Then just open a door to put them back in normal operation.

    Yes and I love them. I wish they would hide like they do in full size trucks. Other than that they are great.
