Ok, I can figure this out. Just gather up like 10 or so of the garbage grinders, the solar cells from the dump and build camp around them.
How's that.
Because I'm guessing the solar panels were what was supplying electricity to the grinders.....which sounds like total.....garbage.

 

Maybe they've been eating walker burgers all along?

Yea, I was really hoping the mystery 'copter was about to be explained when Simon was prodding. Seemed like he just forgot what he was talking about and decided to shoot someone.

 

Funny. Last nite I was playing as Trevor in GTA V for hours, then the show came on. There were actually a few moments that Trevors persona came thru in Simon.

Specially which he yelled "Buuuuullll Shiiiiit"!!
At the garbage lady. Haha, it was hilarious

 

There goes the garbage people resource. Negan's gonna be upset with Simon when he finds out.

 

As much as it felt like a filler episode it really had a lot going on. The whole Michonne thing at the beginning with the fire extinguishers was stupid but Simon putting down all the garbage people was a welcome scene. They were so annoying. Still never really explained why they talked liked that but I like how she just reverted back to normal when everyone else died. I wonder if she will play a role in anything left to come...

I think it showed a lot about the state of the saviors and how it’s not as peachy as Negan thinks. Does he know Dwight Benedict Arnold’d him yet?

Rick is still really annoying. It’s like he only had to learn one line to repeat over and over. “I’m going to kill you” Negan doesn’t care. Hell Negan cared more about Coral than Rick did

 

I must be missing something with my short attention span but where did the helicopter come from?

 

Nobody knows yet but Simon asked about the helipad in the back of the dump so they are just assuming it’s from there

From what she was saying to Rick when they found her later on it was almost like they spoke that way to distance themselves from outsiders and keep their community to themselves. Judging by the fact they had solar panels and a heli pad like Simon said I would be willing to be there was something more going on there than they let on and the garbage people weren't as simple as we were led to believe.

 

I think they just mentioned the solar panels so when she turned on the meat grinder nobody would say “how the hell does she have power?”

And the helipad was just more tease. If/When we see the chopper again it will be way bigger of a plot point than some broken english speaking perverts

 

You might be on to something, after all the "Dump" would be a great place to conceal anything the garbage people might be doing, the whole time giving the illusion of them being a bunch of cretins.

 

I don't think an industrial shredder would produce fine ground round, I call B.S.
