    Curious. Is it at mild throttle, light throttle, heavy throttle?

    Let me know and I will try to see if I can mimic it tomorrow while I am out and about. Going to find some places to drive and test out 4lo as well if I can find a semi dry area.

    Have that already, hence why I want to try and find a dry area to play in to mimic off road 4lo use in dryer conditions.

    It was under medium light throttle. Also notice a double "jerk" when releasing the throttle while still in gear. The idle actually seem to be not as smooth. Overall I found the 103b to be a smoother tune. I really never had an issue with the throttle response that some were complaining about

    Um. Idle has been fine on both tunes for me. I did like 1.03b overall but have reached out to matt to see if he could create a tune with the throttle response between that of b and c.

    I flashed to 1.03C immediately after it was available. I have bout 100 miles on it now. Overall the tune is an improvement over 1.03B, but I’m still having surging issues. Same range 2-3k rpm, but this time the surging is more rapid. If I accelerate hard on a cold engine (I don’t normally do this) it will even buck due to the surging. Since I have a short commute I’m always in that 2-3k rpm range so it’s very noticeable. Hoping 1.03D is coming soon with this issue addressed.

    I never had any surging with the 103b that I notice. Why do you feel the 103c is better if it surges?

    Power delivery is smoother. Throttle less touchy. I was chirping tire constantly off the line with 1.03B but not now 1.03C. That said, 1.03C seems to have the same pull that 1.03B had. As others have said, it just feels more refined. If the hesitation didn’t exist it would be a great tune.

    It's strange how some have different experiences. When I ran the 103b I had no driveability issues.

    I'm convinced I have a unicorn of a truck lol I simply don't have these stuttering issues, or any others. At first I thought the reason I don't get the low range stuttering was because I dont like being low in the power band, but I tried to replicate it many times and could not

    I don't envy you guys

    When I first loaded the 103c I had no driveability issue. After a couple hundred miles started noticing the surge under certain conditions. I ran the 103b for more than 500kms and it was perfect so im back on it.

    Interesting. I am about 200 miles on c right now and put on ~800 mile son b. I will keep an eye out for any issues with c as I drive more

    Your experience with 1.03C (stutters and weirdness upon lift) is what I've experienced with both B and C (91 Octane files). When I hear the variability of experiences on here (sometimes with identical trucks running the same tune), I often wonder if Toyota just nerfed a lot of things to "dull the pain". Perhaps the hardware/software combo that is the current 2GR-FKS platform is not capable of producing a consistent driving experience, and Toyota ran out of time. :notsure:
