That could mean you either had a really good weekend or a really bad weekend... Either way, I bet there's a good story behind it

Ah, for the days of youth. Used to be able to go 3-4 rounds. Now 2 is usually my max in a night. After that I just want to go to sleep

Apparently Somerville is getting like 4"-8" of snow. I guess I'll work from home again... darn... so sad.

Yeah I'm the same way. I'll give you an honest 40-50 a week, because my industry expects 50-60. But in return I'm WFH on Fridays, and I'm going to push back on unreasonable deadlines. All about balance.

That's not as bad as I've seen but I bet it's the older one with the 6.2L V8. Even used, they seem to keep the prices jacked up.

Lol. You don't know me very well. I'm kinda freaky about washing my hands and I WILL NOT touch the handle of a public bathroom with my bare hands

Little deli near work had Mexican lasagna today. I had no idea what exactly that meant, but do you really need to know anything beyond those two words? It is excellent!

Guys I need an opinion from the dog owners on here, my gf has been begging me daily to get a dog and I've been resistant due to: $ for her/random bills, not being able to go away/stay away as easily (we end up being away more than were home on weekends), being in an apartment, living in an apartment that restricts certain breeds, being gone most of the day for work (we both work less than 10mi away but that may change), etc.
So am I the cruel one for preventing it or am I semi-backed on my reasons? Getting one would probably do a lot for her but idk

I ask because I'm at the point of looking at a 2nd 3d printer to increase my product output & feel a little mean by getting the things I need/want because I make enough (salary & side) while she's stuck twiddling her thumbs....help me NETW:help::help::help:

I don't have a dog for many of the same reasons. I have a house and a big yard that would be perfect for one, but the expense of vet visits, food, etc. keeps me from doing it. Also, I leave the house at 6:00 and don't get home until 4:30 or later most days, which is just too long to leave a dog. ...and the final thing is the inability to take off for a day or two if I want to. I live 45 minutes from any friends or family, so I don't want to burden someone by asking them to go up and let the dog out if I'm not around.

If I had an SO living with me, that would maybe change things, but in all likelihood she would have a 45+ minute commute to work as well because of where I live.

Honestly if you're not home on the weekends and can't take her with you, and if you're both gone at the same time for 8+ hours a day it isn't fair for the dog. The GF and I are not planning on replacing our current dog when she dies for that reason; we're both gone 11 hours a day. It doesn't bother our current dog because she's elderly and just sleeps all day. But it wouldn't be fair for another dog at all, and it would make them much more difficult to train.

I'll say that as much as I love my babies, I acknowledge that they hinder me at times. I'd say get something small and easy to unload on family or friends if you wanna travel

Im with her. Small dog and as long as you aren't gone for more than 8 hrs you should be good. Ours are trained to go outside but pads arent terrible, think we may even have some (not sure how we got them) Food isn't expensive 30lb bag for 35 bucks at tractor supply. The smaller of the two dogs eats half a cup a day if im not mistaken so the bag lasts a while. Vet visists, so long as the dog is healthy really isnt bad. Unconditional love from a furry friend is great too.

That's what I see but the gf has her heart set on it...She dumps her cat on her parents a bunch but that's a hour drive each way to do that and I'd hate being that guy of "hey can you dog sit again, we're (fill in destination/activity)" every other weekend. Cause I know she wouldn't be able to afford to board one constantly. When I asked some of that stuff about what if bills come up and her was response was I'm the $$$ backup.....:bananadead:
