No this is the aftermarket OEM skid. I have owned two of them. It is aluminium and will guarantee you will not bend it with your foot. Not nearly as flimsy as the stock pan.

Edit: The consensus is that this item is made of play-dough and though I have owned two of them and it took a front end collision to destroy the last one you can bend them with your fingers. Please disregard my advise on this item.

I used to bend the TRD skid back to almost factory shape by putting it over a piece of wood and standing on the skid.

I have this skid plate. I took it out of the box after I got it and let it rest on the ground on the front lip... that dented it. So I disagree this is a sturdy skid plate.

    Its nothing but a decoration.

Well F me then almighty HE MEN! LOL, my bent to shit one is off the truck and I have a 3/16 Relentless skid now. It seemed a little more resilient to me but what do I know.

It is more stout than the splash guards and beats having no protection but the Relentless skids will serve you much better.

I think I am pretty well covered between the Fab-Fours front bumper, Relentless skid and rear bumper and BAMF LCA skids. Still need to convince myself to get some sliders from Eric though. Pics are pre LCA skids.

I've decided to just leave it alone as much as it kills me to look at it! Lol I don't want to take the chance of it getting more messed up trying to make it better.:annoyed: Luckily at least, it is where it is so it's harder to notice the dent! I kinda have a suspicion of who could have done it because there are a bunch of us who park in the same stalls everyday and there's this one woman with a huge Lincoln suv that she can barely drive who as of lately insists to fit her huge tank in the little stall across of me! She can barely drive that thing and drives up onto the sidewalk to eventually fit herself into that stall. I've seen her come within inches of my bumper trying to reverse out of the stall yesterday (which I tried to confront her then but she took off quick!) and her bumper and toe hitch lined up pretty darn close to the dented area not to mention before that I was looking at the back of her car and low and behold on her black hitch it has silver/white paint like the skid plate on it! What a coincidence!!! Still, I have no definite proof but in my head she did it!! Lol

Today I went into her office and asked around if anyone happened to notice someone reverse into the front of my truck because their office is right there where we park and she wouldn't even look at me! Eventually her co-worker asked her if she saw anything and very sassily she replied "nope I didn't hear no loud bangs or anything" still without looking at me! Kinda strange! I surely can't prove it's her, but if it is she now knows I have an idea it's her! Lol :D One of my co-workers said she will be parking across of me from now on instead cause no one wants her to be parking near their cars.

My TRD skid looks like crap. I hit it pretty hard on something while running a trail and it got bent in a way it stuck out further from the bumper. I tried to bend it back and now it's all wavey and probably looks worse than if I had left it alone. My truck is starting to collect "beauty marks" from offroading so I'm starting to just appreciate the "patina".

Hawaii is one of the states that keeps me on my toes while driving and parking. Every rental car I've seen has seen it's share of parking and street damage. Also, you'd think parking areas would be designed accordingly, given that damn near everyone that lives there drives some sort of lifted truck. Almost every parking stall I've seen are barely big enough for honda fits.
