    took your tranny skid off today. getting my trans serviced wed morning.

    might repaint it before i reinstall it, but the paint on the IFS skid held up worse....it takes so much more abuse...

    I probably won't be in a kayak, but there's a strong chance I'll be on the water seeing how it's a Saturday in season. Bay bridge isn't out of the question for me, conditions permitting.

    Chinese ebay knockoff. From what I've seen, the arms hold up but the bushings fail in the first year and the uniball is junk. Guys rebuild them using TC parts which are apparently a direct swap and they are happy with them. With that said, I don't like uniball and won't run them. Ball joint all the way for me. The same if not better flex with ball joint arms currently on the market and a whole lot let maintenance.
