Someone got T-Boned

 

So my AC/Heater motor only works on the highest setting and off on the other notches, could this be anything other than Blower Motor Resistor?

Paging @DOUBLLD or if anyone else has any thoughts about it?

 

Sounds exactly like the blower motor resistor from everything I've read. I've never had to deal with it personally.

 

So far yeah, that seems like the most likely issue.

There are a few temp fixes in the mean time i can do. Not really a critical issue at the moment and I am still being cheap about everything.

I'll try cleaning up the plug first then going from there.

 

I think the blower is about a hundred bucks or so, so if worst case scenario and the motor is going on the blower, its real easy to swap.

Hell No! I don't want that junk. I've done my share of those over the years. Thank God the manufacturers now actually print that they don't recommend the use of welded-in lkq parts.
Sounds like you must be in the autobody or insurance business too?

I've ran yellow top on the last 2 Volkswagens I had they took a beating and out lived the car. Ended up putting it in my wife's car and selling it with the battery out of her car.
