That was when it was still cool to have 33s, so it wasn't as bad as it is now lol. I think next I'll probably try a 33 but in a skinnier tire to compromise on the weight...or just say fuck it and get ahead of the crowd and go with 40s

probably would have by now, along with a bumper but this month has turned into 'repair month' for me.

Also after doing Big Bear this weekend, especially Gold Mountain in the snow/rain, I'm really starting to think a front locker might need to be a consideration for the next big mod.

Can we all take a moment and agree that King Shock lead time of 4-9 weeks is FUCKING ridiculous.

All lead times are bull shit and I'm over it.

    Currently waiting for:
2 weeks from ECGS (really not bad at all for gear set up to specs. I just am over this shit right now)
    3-4 weeks from Archive
4-9 weeks from King - I may end up buying 12" bilstien shocks just so I can use my truck after the shock relocation is installed
    15+ weeks from Brute force

Payment in full up front is also bull shit. They got your money, why rush? Leave us with no leverage to speed them up. "Give us all your moneys NOW and we will get to your order whenever we finally feel like it"

    Whole lotta stuff
35s are probably the max I'd go, currently on 33s. Besides the trimming factor I've heard a lot of problems in the LT threads running 37s with hubs and the weak second gen steering rack/tie rods.

When we ordered them, he was in the middle of moving to a new shop... so just bad timing and then all the orders flooded in when he ran a discount over black Friday.

You could try filthy Motorsports, they are another king shock pusher, there is a small chance they could have what you want in stock.

Also don't order shit before a big trip, otherwise you end up bitching about lead times after you learn just about EVERYTHING has a lead time :p

IIRC ECGS actually got me my gears shorter than they quoted.

If you are installing aftermarket leaf spring hangers you will need limit straps too, you might as well order those while you are waiting too

Interesting. First time I’ve heard of this. Is this if you’re doing a relocation as well?

I’ll call up Filthy. I should have ordered sooner but didn’t have my bonus from work yet. Needed the money first. Lol.

Talked to ECGS today. They are 2-3 weeks right now due to busy season.

Before the trip, most important is gears and locker. Everything else can wait. I would like to have the bumper before but who knows. Funny thing is I order the bumper back in November..
