I'd expect that there will be people coming that would be willing to go on each level of trail, from very easy to possibly even the difficult. The very easy are unfortunately short from the ones I've seen. However, they are generally safe enough that a beginner could fly solo on them, yet still have a lot of fun. If I'm out there, my goal would be to give everyone the chance to drive at least one trail, even if you are a non-prerunner 2wd with zero experience.

There's a particular route I take out of camp each time I go. It starts at the camping area, goes over a powerline trail, and ends down into the lower staging area. It's just a nice way to end the day, and provides a bit more fun getting back to the highway than having to drive the main roads. It's ideal for starting people out on, and I still find it entertaining with a few dips, hills, and maneuvers.

I agree mike. On this note, I also posted the meet on TTORA so we might gain a few from there.

I am DOWN for 25-27th. Unfortunately, my wife has respectfully declined the invitation. She gets nervous if she gets too far away from the Shopping Malls.

    WHOO HOO!!!

Hells yeah, glad to see someone else officially get on board! :)

I'm going to put a list of attending members in the OP, then once we get a little closer we can figure out camping and stuff a little better.

Yo eric, although its still a ways away we should meet up along the way and mob up. I'm in the process of telling a few fellow owners around here about it and trying to get a taco-van(like caravan :)) to head up the 5. Would be very nice to have other motorists drool over the rides!!

I also jacked your TTORA post and copied it over at customtacos.com, just to get more interest if theres any over their.

i have some experience (mostly do to hunting, and mistaking roads/trails). my truck in a double cab long bed so it is pretty long but i am willing to try! i took my crew cab F350 long bed down and ATV trail once that was fun especially once i had to turn around:eek: i think that took almost and hour and i had to push over a couple small trees, good thing it was a built diesel not much could stop it if i got it moving:D i think my kids would have a lot of fun to!!!!!
