I found 285 70 17 in the Falken AT3's in a SL versus the LT, less weight and I do all highway driving so I purchased those. Having them put on tomorrow.

The 887 are built to carry the extra weight of bumpers with winches. Combined with the Bilstein 5100 you get around 3" of lift.

Are you talking US or Canada pricing? I am in Canada.

I really didn't have a lot of time for shopping around, my inspection failed because of weather cracks on my tires, 2 weeks to get them replaced and I was away for work for over a week so that didn't help with my timeline. In my limited search locally (without trying to order on-line) the pricing was similar for most tires....i.e 265 70 17 KO2's (Costco) were 279.00 each plus tax and I decided to stay with the 285s. I have read a lot of good things on here re the Falken tires so I don't have any issue with the price as long as they last and fit my needs for how I use my truck. Time will tell how happy I am with the purchase.....

What's your setup and lift to be able to fit 285s? Also, what offset or backspacing is your wheels? Looks really good though. Do you rub or did you do the CMC?

Do they fit just bolt on? Spacers or anything needed? I kind of like the look..

I’m running 5100’s up front set to 2.5, icon 1.5 AAL in the rear, and 16x8 wheels with 4.5 bs/0 offset. I’ve only got a couple hundred miles on the 285’s and minimal rubbing at full lock in reverse when you hit a bump (think backing out of your driveway and rolling over the apron to the road)
