After almost having to fist fight toyotas head office I recently had the frame replaced on my 05 access cab.

Immediately after getting it back and driving it for the day noticed that there was oil spraying all over the pulleys and underneath after going on the highway.
At first I thought it was power steering fluid until today when I was looking underneath it seems as if it's coming from the front main seal!!

Am I crazy to think that when they pulled the motor for the frame swap that they set it down resting on that pulley somehow?
Or the main seal just started leaking on its own?

Also my rear air bags don't hold air for more then a day anymore,
My trailer lights and brake controller don't work.

I emailed my service advisor that I have been dealing with a few days ago about the problem but I originally told him I think it's leaking power steering fluid. Now if all the sudden I say it's leaking oil I'm going to look dumb.

Thoughts ? What shoukd i say?

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
Preface the change with something like: Upon closer inspection... You were pressed for time when you noticed it...

Fill in the blanks as appropriate. Lol

Check that the Schrader valve is tight in the air bag fill. Assuming you got no AOB... If you think the bags are suspect, fill them up and spray them with soapy water and look for bubbles.

It's not your responsibility to correctly identify the leaking fluid. they should be thanking you for bringing any leaking fluid to their attention.
Bring it back, they'll fix it..

Ok when I drop it off on Monday I will make a list of the issues.
The truck was always completely dry underneath it kinda pisses me off that this new frame is all covered in oil.
Happy with everything else now. They put alot of new parts on it. The new Toyota lower control arms are a different design then what was on there
