They’re trying to minimalise the injury. You have to remember Vancouver only sells out the building when they are winning. When they are losing they have to try and make things look like they are going to turn around quickly to try to keep cash flow up. If they just said Boeser had a broken back people would worry he won’t come back and it might drive season tickets down. If they paint it out to be as minor as a paper cut people will buy tickets for next year counting on a quick rebuild around him.

 

I loved watching them lose their minds that day
