I have one - and I'm pretty sure I paid less than $29.

I wouldn't use it as a recovery strap as I have a kinetic rope for that. But they come in handy as an extension or tree strap. Keep it clean, dry and out of the UV - don't subject it to strong, sharp loads - and it should do OK.

    Until it breaks :p

For a tailgate they’re plenty good. Those bolts thread into plastic.

didnt see any reviews for the "industrial solder iron"

so heres my impression after a few uses: works great and quick compared to typical pen style solder irons. i used the thin solder that came with and havent had any issues with it melting fast. although the actual tip that heats up would bend as if it was getting too hot while heating up the wire and holding it down. its not anything crazy bent but i would try to heat it the other way every other time. it does come with 2 spare tips as well.

overall easy to use and works well.

I have bought the torque wrenches from the 1/4 up to the size 1/2 Drive. We have a torque wrench calibrate verify machine at work and the HF wrenches were not off by much considering the price. In a range of 20fb -120 it was only off by 1-2 fb. good enough for home mechanic work IMO.

I want to know when the trailers are going to be out? This recall BS is harsh!

I don't think they are almost the same. With the coupon HF offered, the trailers could be bought for $270 out the door.

Yeah, I have it... Works pretty good and makes the process much quicker/ easier / cleaner... It will help ALOT if you put some teflon tape on the threads of the bleed nipples as air likes to come through there. I usually finish up with a few pumps of the old brake pedal method and all is good.

How about the gas chain saw? anyone have experience with it? : I will just be using it camping it won't be seeing heavy use. Wish they had a 14'' or 16'' version

For the tires, not trailers themselves AFAIK.

Speaking of that anyone take their tires off? How hard is it?

What do I like about HFT?? wow, long list...My best experience was with their Hardwood flooring nailer....I was having new floors installed and found a couple of guys that were between jobs but didn't have a nailer ... I picked up 2 just in case one failed they could keep working....$99 each Long story short the first one worked great and I sold it to them for $100 and then I returned the 2nd one unopened. Boy was I happy!!!
My worst experience has been with drill bits...After breaking way too many...dulling way too quickly no more HFT drill bits for me. My work bought a set ( I warned them)...One of our techs was using a 3/8" in a piece of aluminum and it hung up...when he reversed the drill it untwisted the bit I have never seen any other bits do that...wish I had kept the bit or at least taken a picture of it...

I have had a HFT 4x8 trailer for 10 plus years and I have pulled that thing all over the state of Va. while my son was racing in the VCHSS plus many trips to Myrtle Beach and I pull it every week end in mowing season. Two sets of tires and lights and still going strong. I just grease it twice a year.
