Have you plugged youe phone charger into another vehicle to make sure it's not the charger? Chancea are slim you blew a fuse with just a charger.

It’s under the dash on drivers side near the hood latch. Small plastic box about 1”x5” on the cover it shows which fuse is what.

Should just get a cable and plug it in inside the console - there's even a little cutout for the wire to pass thru... then when you get really fancy, a phone that has Qi charging??

Same thing happened to me! The fuse box cover descriptions are extremely cryptic. I've attached the map, would be really awesome if anyone had a pointer as to which one is the cigarette charger...

    Thanks!

That's the under hood fuse box.

    Here's the under dash location:

Sorry. There's no map in the OM.

Thanks! That was easy to find, and I've attached a picture of the underside of the fuse box with the map. The question is, which of the fuses is the cigarette lighter...

I've never had a car that did not have a fuse box map... man how did Toyota decide to go that route?

Hello. Relatively new to the forums...haven't posted much. But after lots of searching online I never found a simple answer to the question of which fuse is responsible for the in-dash cigarette lighter port. I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Offroad, and my cigare tte lighter port stopped working, so I checked individual fuses and found the correct one. Wanted to share the info.

The fuse for the in-dash cigarette lighter port can be found under the dash to the left of the steering column. The fuse in question is a 15 amp low-profile mini blade fuse, and on the fuse box lid its labeled as "P/OUTLET NO. 1". See included pic. I hope that helps!

I've learned a lot from browsing this forum, so I'm happy to finally have something to contribute. Safe wheeling!

CaptainSir1oin, Now I'm getting somewhere, but how do I get at those fuses??? How do you get that cover off? How do I get my head under there?? (dash version)
Seems like lots of people are having trouble with the charger.

Check with the voltmeter? Sometimes the charger might not be reaching back far enough. It happened to my initial charger and I had to swap to another one.

Lay down on your back on the floor of your drivers seat so your head touches the pedal (feet outside of course). You will see the fuses. The cover comes off by pulling it off. It has a tab on one side that you have to undo.

Are the fuses under the steering column left MICRO or MINI?

I want to buy a tap but unsure
