I don't think there is any other source of protein that's cheaper than whey...maybe eggs or canned tuna, but the MyProtein I use is like $.40/20g. I get the argument that real food is better than horse hooves or whatever the fuck whey is made from from a micronutrient standpoint, but when you're trying to eat 200+ grams of protein, chicken and rice gets old quick and it's just much more convenient to pound a shake.

 

If I was eating 5,000 cals a day... I’m sure food gets hard to eat.

Whats odd is I find protien shakes to be inconvenient...
Like its easier to open a tub of cottage cheese and go for it than whip up a shake. Plus I’m not getting a blender out at work lol.

I’m already made fun of for eating every 3 hours.

Why would you whip out a blender? Put a scoop or two in a shaker and fill that bitch with water whenever you're ready for it. Shake and enjoy.

Placed an order on myprotein's site over the weekend and I got the shipped confirmation. Its being sent by a shipping company called "THG" Have any of you had any orders shipped this way? They had several different shipping options to choose from but some were the same price, so I just chose one that had tracking.

 

I never get to choose my shipping provider but it also goes some obscure name like that and it takes forever. I’ve had a couple orders come decently quick, like within the same week, but others take 2-3 weeks and the tracking information is always screwy and it goes coast to coast before finally arriving.

Pulled 425 for a double yesterday. Thought i was gonna bust a blood vessel in my eyes on the second rep. 405 felt really fast. 425 felt substantially heavier.

 

Still weak. You can't be an Instagram coach like newlife until you hit 600 you pleb.
