Did you happen to get the ceramic pro brand of coating, or another one?

 

Ceramic Pro - Silver Package, only the paint; did not get any of the plastic or windows done

 

How are you liking it so far?? I have been teetering on keeping my appointment for the Gold Package or canceling it. Was told by a guy who's in the auto paint/collision field that it's a hoax/gimmick (don't think he really knew much about the ceramic coating industry though and the Ceramic Pro brand). Others on here disagree with what he told me and say it's legit.

 

I’ve only had it for one week so it’s hard to judge it. The pollen and liquid crap that has landed on my truck so far just falls off with a tiny touch so it is super slick. Only time will tell if it’s worth the investment. I chose the silver package because I plan on having it reapplied in 5 years. How much did you get quoted for the gold package if you don’t mind me asking?

Traded my 16 Quicksand OR base for an 18 Cement OR loaded. They gave me 29,900 for the trade and sold me the new 18 a little under invoice. That plus a lower APR, it was a no brainer for me. Quicksand was my favorite color UNTIL I saw Cement.

 

The Quicksand matched your house. Now you are gonna have to change the shingles weathered grey cedar.

Seeing that makes me not want to do my roof in black. I never thought about how badly the 3rd brake light will stick out since its white. I could tint the lens I guess.

 

I think he is going for a blackoutish theme. My cement is coming next week and I freakin' love that color. More cement, less anything else. But, that is just me.

 

How much was the silver running, on average? Does it is usually only make sense to do this on a brand new vehicle.

 

2018 OR cement 4x4 with leather, sunroof, Tacoma rubber floor mats, Tacoma bed mat, black 17 TRD pro rims, Nitto terra grapplers A/T, oem blacked out badges, raised Tacoma letters in tail gate, PRO grille and XM satellite for a year! Stoked on all the throw in accessories and got it at invoice to boot

 

Is Cement the flagship color of 2018? Like BBP was in 16. Seems like it being on the brochures, ads etc. My dealer had 5 on their lot.

Got my ARE v-series topper put on yesterday. The pup is already loving having so much room to himself back there.

 

Yup, I agree, my cement comes in within the next week or two. I had the roof and hood of my 08 white prerunner matte black but won’t do that on my 2018 OR. First things first, remove the chrome badges and ceramic coat!

 

Nah too much cement kills it, which is why the cement sports look so gross compared to the offroads.. the black fenders really make the cement color pop
