@MadDaddy i disagree with your observation about Buescher. He has more wins than Chase Elliot and he drives for a junk JTG team. JTG does keep getting better alliances thanks to his raw talent. If They ditch childress for Hendrick motors to go with the Hendrick chassis, watch out for Chris. Hes always driven junk but he does better than Almendinger.

Buescher does not have a win, his crew chief does. Take a look at where he was running in that race before the crew chief decided not to pit. Also look at the overall stats on Chase. You guys can hate all you want but you would be ignorant to think you will not have to eat those words in the near future. Don't think your bias towards a driver changes actual statistics.

A win is a win, but it was a rain shortened deal where he stayed out and gambled- in a Ford. I only saw him run at plate tracks last year and he was WAY off pace compared to the pack. He did finish the season with 34 more points than Dinger in '17. I'm not anti-Buescher. I'd love to see him succeed. I just haven't seen any fruit since that Pocono win.

Another boring Vegas race. I slept through most of it, so maybe I missed something good. :D

You could go back to Xfinitity where they were in similar equipment (JRM/Roush) and make a comparison if you like. I am not knocking the guy, if you want to celebrate him by all means feel free. All I am saying is I do not agree and you do not have to tear down a driver you do not like to build up another per say. The way Hendrick has been performing I would not say they are in that much better equipment currently either. You may not like Chase but I think he has proven he can wheel a car. Can't close for shit but he can drive the first 3/4 of a race!

I say the biggest thing hurting Buescher is his inability to speak. Everytime he is interviewed he sounds like he has never been on camera before. In Nascar today that is a big part of it. By the time you get to this level you should know how to speak to the media.

I wouldn't consider Roush top by any means.... And Hendrick is performing poorly because look whos left... They just need the time to get things togethet and they'll get somewhere. IF JTG gets hendricks motors next uear when the Childress contract is up, we will be able to see.

Not really worth arguing about. Even if JTG gets HMS power your boy will still be sitting right where he is. Probably out of the series by the time next year starts anyway.

IIRC he's still on loan from Roush. If Jack doesn't put him in a Roush Ford in 19 he can walk away.

Yeah I figure Roush was just trying to save sheet metal. If I were him I don't think I would want to get back in Roush equipment either.

Because there is so few of us why don't we post up our pics of project vehicles/toys so we can get to know each other a little better. I can't wait to finish my GMC. It is going to turn into my daily driver I say but with all the work that has gone into it I only drove it 538 miles last year. Driving that truck takes me back to being a teenager again.

There is something to be said of carrying yourself like a man and the drivers of old. The nostalgia of people who have been around the sport there whole lives and made it what it is. Also being able to actually talk to fans and the media even when things do not go there way. Then we have the new generation fans of the likes of lets say Kyle Busch who is a total DB and though the man can wheel a car he does not deserve his success and the chances he has been given. I respect your prospective but I do not understand it. Just like you do not get why most JR fans supported him. It is not always about the wins but the respect of the sport that matters to some of us. And of course being a man and conducting yourself like a race car driver at the highest level of the game. Most times I would rather support a good person than a successful asshole.

OK, JR fans, jumped on the bandwagon because of daddy. Jr did earn new fans and kept old ones, but let's be real here SR paved the way for him.
You are saying there was no one that didn't take shit from others in the Nascar past? As a rowdy fan, I love that he drives the shit out whatever he is in, week in and week out. And at the end of the race, you can see his emotions, and frankly, that makes him more likable. Just like Smoke, he told you like it was. Oh and at the end of the race, after he just busted his ass and didn't reach his goal, I don't blame him for being pissy.

Edit: Just reread your post, I understand about supporting the asshole, I guess I just don't see KB as being an asshole.

LOL, no worries man. I give enough shit here to take all that comes my way. I give KB all the credit in the world for driving a car I just think he is a dick and well pretty much a punk but again. SOB can drive. I get that people do not think JR deserved the fans he got but most people think he was a silver spoon kid too and that could not be further from the truth. He did get some breaks but all in all he deserved the droves of fans and everything he got. As for Chase he just seems like a level headed dude who was raised correctly and is doing things the right way. My opinion. At the end of the day I am just being a dick because of the OP's unhealthy love for KB. It concerns me to be frank! JK.
