Sorry I’m just now getting back to you! The halos come with a really small controller for the color change as you said. I guess if you wire them direct they would just be white but I never tried wiring them directly. The controller box is a tiny little thing like 2”

The nice thing about modding a Taco is that we all get to choose the options that best suit each and every one of us. Wouldn't be much fun if they all were the same. For me the Gasshole is a practical option, for someone else it may not be. Mod on!

    Sorry. I should’ve posted a warning that it’s a goofy rant.

It really made sense to me when I decided to get a locking gas cap.

Speaking of which, do you have any recommendations on which one has worked for you ?

I hate having to add yet another key to the keychain but it’s a small price to pay.

I don't know if anyone has responded to your post because I haven't caught up on my TW yet.

I would strongly advise against screwing directly into the composite because of leaks and potential for cracking. The layers that make them up aren't actually that thick. My brother has an ARE with the Yakima rack rails on top. Is there enough bolt sticking through that you could attach a custom molle system under the existing nuts? I'm thinking it would have to have some brackets designed into it to drop it away from the roof.

I'm not sure what kind of items you're thinking of putting on them and the accessibility you need but you could also use the remainder of the windows that your dogs don't use and mount them like the 4Runner guys do with their back windows.

Stant #10504 is the cap that I bought. Purchased it on ebay for around $15. I can't really say that that particular brand is any better or worse than another but I'm happy with it. I'm sure that there are others that are just as good. Hope this helps.

:rofl:I was just kidding, I like all the threads no matter how goofy. I honestly appreciate everyone's opinion no matter how much I may disagree with them or think they are stupid.

That's what makes this fine country great, freedom of speech. I'm not always happy with the serious negativity, blatant pretentiousness, or especially, out right bashing, but a little aggressive banter is always cool with me. Never been a fan of the whole mom thing but again, free speech so.

You can learn a lot about someone by what they say, if they are able express themselves in a concise and legible manner. The ones that don't, well, there's always night school to get a GED. :D
