    I agree there should have been no charges filed. The father wacked him in his home, you can't ask an intruder their name before you defend your home and family. Plus he was naked on his daughters bed, the kids knew the risk if they were caught.

    I think the father should not have charges filed.
    Something very similar happended to a friend of mine. His dad woke up one night to his sisterscreaming and some guy was in her bed. He came back with the shotgun and the guy ran out the window completly naked.

    I think that depends on the state. I've heard that some states won't consider that trespassing because the daughter (who resides in the house) let him in - even though she's not the owner of it.
