There is a group of us going to explore on saturday. We will start at Coopers in Llano, do regency suspension bridge loop, explore the TO file "Centex Overland" for some river crossings, and then camp at Sulphur Springs Camp in Bend or Keys Crossing NW of the bridge...

All are welcomed to join. I have a group PM going with some of the regulars already

 

Looking at getting an ARB bumper. Anyone wanna talk me out of it for a different, better bumper? Trying to keep it around $1,200 and less

 

I'm usually pretty flexible for lunch unless we have a maintenance event scheduled that day. But I would know the day ahead usually so we can plan something ahead of time. Just let me know and I'll be there. Really like Shogun off Dessau in PFUGEY or Pho Dan off Braker

 

eBay bumper spend the other half on a rear bumper!! Arbs are super nice an beefy imho I don’t like the way they are built for 2.5 gen.

 

I may go this route too one day Matt! I really don't wanna spend $2000+ on bumpers and sliders on my 12 year old truck with almost 200K miles lol

 

Do it!! The bumper gets a lot of crap I mean I had to massage it some fitment wise but I knew that going into it. For me it was a good purchase installed in about 3 hours by myself deadlifted that biotch. If you get around to ordering it I’ll help ya if needed.

 

ARB looks like someone put a steel front porch on your truck. Just say no...or say yes if it's what makes you happy but I'm not a fan.

Haha this is very true.. but i love mine. Its the porch that i put all my tools and beer on while working on the truck

Dont know what id do without it. I frequently stand on it as well to get a better angle for what im working on in the engine bay since the truck is lifted and everythings hard to reach over the fenders

 

This one's been on my list. But I've been told my list is far below the Taco lists and house lists, and new puppy list... at least I get to restart the Taco Project once we've moved.

Exactly. Only one I've found. Was one of the selling points to go new when we bought it. Love the "fangs" or whatever you wanna call them.

I like that bumper but without the headlight hoops. Which will probably cost me a headlight one day.

 

I'm still undecided on the headlight hoops. Wife says no, I can't decide, so probably going with no...
