Does anyone have an opinion on Meridianville, as far as living there? You can get more house/land for the money - and I really don't want a 1/20 acre lot if I can help it...

 

my sister just moved out there, its growing. lots of subdivisions being developed.

I have no desire to live out there.

 

you were too slow...and you don't live in SE HSV...

 

Technically I do. We just have a fancier name over here than SE HSV...

Not a bad area. Guntersville is another cheap good place.

You and I have much different ideas on the idea of "cheap". Guntersville ain't nothing but a lot....I mean ALOT of old retired money. My dad (CEO of Chamber of Commerce in Scottsboro/Jackson County) deals with a lot of rich obnoxious a holes from there on the regular bitching at him for tournament fishermen fishing in "their" lake!

 

Washed Sunday, rain most of Monday and completely covered in pollen today at 1.17 pm!

 

I too was confused by "Guntersville = cheap"....

can't hide money...

 

The car washing side biz must be where it's at!

 

I'm not looking for "cheap" as much as "spacious". And, not in the city.

Guntersville is a bit of a drive.

 

And, surprisingly, a Publix.

 

I'd consider just south of the river, Laceys Spring to Arab area. 231 is a quick easy drive to HSV.

 

This is a great area......if you are into banjo music and incest.........
