Mine used to love driving my Tacoma; every time it snowed she wanted to take it. She hates the Ford; won't drive it. Bought herself a Rav4 winter beater instead.

Haha no I've seen 3 people standing in the road after sliding out. Like don't you think whatever caused you to lose control might cause someone else to, and then you get smashed?

Put a stage 5 icon set up in there, my wife loved the ride after that. Let me fly down fire roads about 15+ mph faster too. Oh, and when I hit a bump my ass end didn't do a 360 and try to kill me. Don't know if they fixed that, but on the 2015-2016's the threat was real.

My F150 is a 16 and I've hit some pretty big frost heaves with it (Maine roads in the winter) and it's been completely controllable. The difference is that it doesn't bottom out like my Tacoma used to before the spring recall. But I've got the FX4 offroad package, so maybe the different shocks make a difference.
The GF doesn't like driving the F150 because of the size, not the ride.
