Pretty sure I"m screwed on taxes I didnt owe anything for 4th quarter business taxes but my guy has had are personal stuff for 3 weeks and have not heard from him

 

Yea, he's waiting for that shipment of K-Y from Costco, the 55 gal size to come in first.

 

Bad thing is 1st quarter is almost over so I may really be taking it up the ass since there due about the same time

 

So I called today and asked about the coating on the ball joints, and what the difference is between the silver and the black material were in the pictures on the website. I learned that the black ball joints are old pictures and that all UCAs ship with the silver joints which are machined steel with a clear powdercoat over the top.

Then I ordered myself a set.

 

Interesting, that makes sense. I should clean off mine with a wire brush and hit them with some paint.

 

Rust adds character.

just got my trans serviced at 73k today. fluid was black and the filter didnt look too bad. it soooooooooooo much smoother now. this is why i change fluids so often.

 

73k, fluid black, change SO often?... oxy MORON mebbe?

 

Pretty sure that was the joke lol I think it's supposed to be done about every 40K if i'm not mistaken? I know I personally wouldn't go any more than that if even that.

 

It was done at 37,750 and now again at 73k

I believe the service manual calls for only once at 60k, i also believe thats bullshit

 

Just like my 5th gen 4R says engine oil every 10K That'll never happen

 

I do every 5k even on synthetic. Unless i go on a hwy trip then i’ll push 6-7.5k

 

Every 5K for me with Mobil 1 full synthetic and OEM filter.

 

Huh. I wonder if I'll end up owing next year as I don't get anything besides the standard deduction.

3rd gen Tacoma says the same. I do 5k mile intervals. I tow a lot in the summer and don't have a long work commute so it rakes me a while to get to 5k miles.
