Hello everyone. I'm looking for info on how to install a push button start. I have a 2015 Tacoma and have already installed this remote starter(also pictured below). Right now if I use my remote starter to start the vehicle, I then have to use the key to turn to the "on" position to bypass the brake security feature so someone can't get in and drive away. I want to replace this with a push button to get rid of a key completely. I also want the push button to work independently from the remote start as a true push to start. I've read through every thread on here about it and still can't figure out what I need to do to get this working. I appreciate any help with this!

How would you deal with the steering column lock?

That's something I didn't even think about. I know people before have installed a push button starter, I just have no idea how they did so. This thread is the main one on the subject, but no one has a clue how the op actually did it. Also he has sold his Tacoma and hasn't been seen in years .
